HA! Maybe we need to hold an intervention for you. ;) (She says as she is commenting on a blog post she just read.) Sorry, I'm not much help. I'm in the same blog reading boat.
Oh well. I'm sure it will be nice to welcome home your hubby even if you have to give up the diagonal side of the bed.
i am totally an addict! i complain about being tired all the time & yet i stay up til 2 reading blogs. it's a sickness, i tell ya. probably requiring therapy. or possibly a stint in the nut house... just so long as they have wi-fi.
Because you can! I would do it too. In fact, last month Hubs took the kids and himself up north and it was glorious. My house never looked so clean, my nights were spent watching Twilight and chick flicks. And blogs...reading all of them! Whoot. (FYI. I love your blog! But for some reason, most of the computers here at work won't let me access your blog. Tonight I found one that would. I love your blog!!!)
That is a fabulous question! I do the same thing- stay up WAY too late. I'm guessing you do it for the same reason I do. The house is quiet. No one is going to call. No one is going to yell "MOOOMMM!" and you can hear yourself think at 2 am. But that's just a wild guess!
Let me know what time the meetings begin. I get up at 4 am, to take a child to the bathroom so he does not wet the bed. But find I can't sleep, so I get up and read blogs until time to get everyone up for the day.
When Keith is gone, I like to lie in the middle of the bed. It's up higher than the ditches we sleep in on either side of the bed. I like to turn the fan on high and pretend I'm sleeping on top of a mountain.

ReplyDeleteLike moths to a flame.....
ReplyDeleteBecause you CAN!

Because they're there.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, it just makes one feel better to read a blog that describes a day that was worse than yours.
ReplyDeleteOr is that just me?

Ah, diagonal in the bed. What a lovely thought. Enjoy while you can. For the rest of us.

ReplyDeleteHaha! I do that when the hubby is gone too! :)
ReplyDeleteBecause you love us as much as we love you. DUH! =)
ReplyDeleteIs this one of those questions like,"Which came first, the chicken or the egg?".
ReplyDeleteThat's just what we bloggers do.
ReplyDeleteI love having the bed to myself every so often.
Because we're all crazy that way, LOL!
ReplyDeleteAfter several weeks I notice I'm starting to go diagonal or sleep towards the middle of the bed. When I sleep, that is.
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow blogger, I find myself reading late at night when I can't sleep or see my reader hit the 400+ point.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Ha! I know the feeling-- The answer is "just because"
