Counseling Accepted

I've done it again...

some people overeat when their spouse deploys.

Some watch too much t.v.

Some start an exercise program.

Some learn a new language, start a new hobby or just sit and count the days away.

I shop for houses.

and talk myself into all the reasons I need to move.

yes, again.

  2. wow, moving is usually right about dead last on my list of things i want to do. and you do this without your hubby's assistance since he's deployed?
    good luck!
p.s. my word verification here is "prays". maybe that means i'm supposed to pray for you during your move. =)

  3. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't mind the hunt for a new place it is the implementing and the logistics involved of actually moving.

  4. You could always exercise in front of the t.v. with a bar of chocolate in one hand inside your new house.

  5. Ha! I KNEW it! You can't move from this house! It is PERFECT! The yard! The garden! All of it! You must stay!!!!!!

    There. Did that help? ;)

  6. NO!

I totally have a plan for you!!

Since we are currently unemployed and homeless you can shop for a house for ME!!

Here is the beauty of the situation- it will cost you nothing but it will take up plenty of time and distract you from your otherwise crappy life because you can focus on MY crappy life!!

    Brilliant yes?

And seriously... moving sucks. Packing sucks. Unpacking sucks. Moving sucks. Stop it.

I will move on your behalf. :) Win win.

  7. The process of looking is very therapeutic!! The actual "doing it" sucks!! I hate moving...but love seeing and living in a new space. Sigh!!

  8. Everyone has that "thing". Mine like you is new places to live. I get the "itch" to move every couple yrs. I need change or I go crazy. But since we just got our first home and hubby refuses to move; I paint and rearrange funiture. Or rip out the backyard & start over with new flowers or sod. Change without moving :)

  9. I usually just do projects, but I like your idea. I love looking at houses. Want some help?

And do you tell hubby you've moved, or do you just let him find out when he gets home?

  13. I'm looking at houses these days too, and dreaming. Mostly because I'm sick and tired and so disgusted with apartment living. Our lease is up at the end of November and I SO want to find something else.
Good luck keeping yourself reigned in!
