NOTHING

...is what I've got. There's about seven drafts sitting in my to-be-posted folder but since they are a LOT of nothing, I thought I'd spare you some time and make a short post about nothing.

With photos.

The daughter has been making sculptures to send to daddy.

Here is a daffodil and a squid.

Give her a break, she's four.

Here is the same girl trying to fry Mommy with her evil laser-scowl all the way across a field (good thing I have a good zoom lens or I would've disintegrated getting this close to her).

She's at her "Sports Day" refusing to participate because I changed her out of her school shoes and into something better for running.

Just for the record, she doesn't go to school with face-less children...

this gives me an idea though...

I know this is all kinds of wrong, but it's been that kind of day.

  1. That is hilarious...donkey child that is. The part where she was unkind toward you stinks, but I love the donkey head you plonked on her.

  2. That is one serious 'stink-eye' your girl has. Kinda scary.

  3. Lol! As a mom of two daughters (5 & 2) I can relate. One minute your their best friend the next "laser-eyes" and "i no love yous" with a side of temper-tantrum. Thank you for the laugh and for sharing

  6. Hee hee! Such a stubborn one. Maybe when she grows up she will be in a field that can really use that stubbornness!

  7. I totally laughed out loud about the faceless children and then the donkey head. I guess if the face fits...

Cute that she's making sculptures for daddy.

  9. I had to let my kids see this post! We are laughed! Wish I had those skills- it would be fun to play around with Photoshop!

  10. First off, only 7? Are you kidding me? I have so many that most are out of date now, LOL!

Secondly, I was wondering about those blurred faces. Thanks for clearing that up.

Next, you're so lucky to have such a lovely, photogenic captive. Oh wait. I'm not sure who the captive is but it's always good for blog fodder. Sadly, my kids are too old to be around for it or fall for it when they are. I truly do miss those days. Enjoy them while ye may...

  11. Hey, I think she did a fabulous job on the squid...it looks just like the picture on the box. And, come to think of it, it looks sorta like her in the pink...much more beoming than the mule head.

  12. Sure it was wrong, but it was also very funny. :-)

  14. I am laughing so hard that I can hardly see straight!! Does that donkey head come in a size for 16 year old daughters?

  15. That is an impressive scowl for a four-year-old. My wife didn't develop one that effective until we had been married almost a year.

  16. Love the look, but love the donkey head more.
