The Way I Fill My Days, in Photos

One day of this:

What are they looking at?

oh.

Three days of this:

That fancy-footed blue guy is mine...

Michael Jackson wanna be?
Nope, apparently a red glove helps with Frog and Newt catching.

And many days like these:

Equals a perfect week.

Well... nearly perfect except that for
64 days now
someone has been missing from our photos...

  2. 64 days...WAY too long.

And thanks for the tip on newt catching. No wonder I never get one!! :)

  3. Miss Ky looks like she has grown a foot! sigh

  4. Great pictures. I love the newt catching accessory...who knew? Your little guy sure looks fancy footed. Very cool.

I love your little girls hair. So cute.

64 days is way too long. I've got nothing on that one. Thank you for the sacrifice. (((hugs))) Hang in there. That's just very, very hard.

  6. 64 days already? Really? Oh, I hope you're doing alright. That would be so difficult. Hope you're well.

    Your shots are fantastic!

  7. I love the post. Great pictures of the things you fill your days with. Hopefully the day will quickly come when you can say, "64 days until Sexy Guy comes home."

  8. You just need to be able to turn that newt into a prince!

Lovely photos. Good to see everybody well.

  9. I'm glad you FINALLY got better.

For Clueless Kelley here, what is the difference between a newt and a regular old frog?

  10. That's the first newt I've ever seen, and I have you to thank for it.

  11. 64 days. But who's counting? ;) Stinky. :(

Other than that, the days look lovely!

That pic of Miss Ky with the light shining on her hair is just beautiful. So sweet.

And thank you for the lovely email. I'm still planning on emailing you back. ;)

  12. Sorry guys... my post was really misleading. The blurry brown blob in A1's constantly moving hands (hey, not making excuses for a crappy photo or anything) is a frog. The newts are in the bucket, and they don't hold very still either.

  13. Great pictures! and yes, 64 days is a very long time.
Glad the frogs are at your house and not mine!

  14. Oh lawdy, Miss KY looks like a big girl in that photo, she is going to be a drop dead gorgeous woman. Just lock her up. Lot's of fun with the kids. It's been 64 days already? How much longer? I don't know how you do it. I can't imagine having my husband be gone like that. Besides all the stuff they do, the emotional support and helping with the kids, and everything that has happened; going without the *you know* would get me wound up in knots. I need to pray for you more, a whole lot more.

  15. Great pics! My daughter ran screaming from a frog the other day! She takes after her mommy thank goodness! I don't have to worry about her bringing home new "friends!"

64 days is WAY too long!!! God bless you!

  16. I love your days. And I hate to depress you further, but that little girl of your isn't so much any more.

  17. I don't know how you do it. You are very strong.

    Yes you are.

Beautiful pictures here. I love your daughter in that first shot -- being big just like everyone else!

    A red glove -- that's why I haven't caught any newts lately.

Well, that's not the ONLY reason.

  19. Great photos. I have some soccer photos of mine - minus the fancy footwork:)

  21. we used to catch the frogs and then have our very own frog jumping contests. They are actually quite harder to hold than you would think...the hoppy fat things!

    Great pics.

  22. Lovely pictures and it loks like a lovely way to spend a day!

    64 day . . . how many more?

  23. The longest I have ever had to go is 70 days without the hubby. You ARE AMAZING!! Hang in there. You captured your daily adventures with some great photos--that Miss Ky is so yummy!

  24. 64 days (even more now, I'm sure) very long time to have a hole in those photos. Hugs to you.

You do have much joy there in front of you though. Lovely photos of the kids. Give them all a hug for me too---except the frogs and newts. I don't particularly want to hug them.
