Oh the Horror! I Think I'm Turning Into a Diva!

It started innocently enough with these...

Yes, my photo, my legs

but then I had to have these...

My photo, my window sill

and yesterday, I catwalked all over the store in these.

Nope, not my photo and have no idea who to give credit to
Aren't they lovely?!

Or they were until my 11 year old so rudely pointed out that they were too big.

Do you think they had my size? Of course not.
Do you think anyone in the free world has them in my size? Certainly not.

Dear Santa,

Remember how I wanted an Edward Cullen Stand Up figure?

Wouldn't these go nicely with it?

I blame HER for this shoe obsession.

Of course this is my photo, who else has one of these destroying her home?

The word "pink" wasn't even in my vocabulary until she was born and Merrill hiking boots were my shoe of choice.

But yesterday, there she was in the back of the cart and when I pulled those gorgeous blue Steve Madden shoes down to try on, OFF went her shoe and UP went a little socked foot as she demanded to have a try.

I think her DNA must've contaminated mine during pregnancy. A transference of sorts.

Whatever happened,
the Hubby's retirement goals are in danger...

What's your guilty pleasure these days?

  3. I've always been a tomboy but ever since I found out I was pregnant with a girl something has been happening to me...it's sort of spooky! ;) I also swore I would not be dressing my daughter in pink all the time, and yah that went out the window the moment she was born. Oh well. Those shoes are super cute by the way (that's saying a lot from a women who never wears high heals) (yet). ;)

  6. I am a sucker for anything blue. Surely too big is better than too small!

I collect clothes especially if they are blue!

  8. PM-Bite me! Just kidding! If I didn't love you, I would really say that, though.

As for Jeri, your legs are HOT in those shoes and will be equally so if Santa comes through with the others!

  9. Shoes. It's always been shoes. Strange really, since I have the ugliest Hobbit Feet on the face of the earth. I like to buy them by the dozen and then wear them once, then sell them for nothing at a garage sale. Or not.

  10. Pretty spiffy looking shoes there! I have never been able to wear heels though. I can't walk in them and I refuse to wear shoes that are uncomfortable. So if I had any, I'd gladly give you mine! HA!

    My guilty pleasure---hmm...probably chocolate,I think.

  13. Ummm . . . if you are expecting me to confess all over the place to a kindred shoe addiction I've got news for you . . . I'm taking the
5th -- and one of each of these beauties in all available colors, 7-1/2 please, delivered preferably by UPS so that my husband doesn't have to go to the post office to retrieve the many boxes that will not fit into our rural route box, thus avoiding the "look" he shoots my way as he fills the entry way with "THE MAIL."

Nope, you're not tricking me into any confessions . . . sorry, girlfriend. But I do thank you for the heads up about those adorable blue heels. Any chance they come in red? ; D

    XO!

  15. I go through guilty pleasures like some women go through men. Quickly and entirely -- only to be discarded when a better looking one comes along.

  16. My obsession is easy. Camera crap. Its all I want for Christmas and all I won't get because we can't afford it. Sigh.

And I really really really want to see you catwalk in those blue shoes. REALLY.

  17. Excellent shoe choices. Stuff tissue paper in the toes of the Maddens and be done with it.

Your gal is adorable. And her contamination looks good on you!

    Happy Halloween!
