Update on Number One Son: He sent me TWO very sincere text message "thank you"s and phoned me to make sure I got them. He's forgiven.
This is my 495th Blog post
For those of you die-hards that didn't erase me from your reader (thank you PM, I know you used to really dislike this reader-overload time of year), I am having a celebration/giveaway for my 500th post!!
Thursday, November 12th will be my 500th post.
and I will be giving away a prize of MUDDY or BLOODy-related items.
I'm envisioning the stampede already.
Ok, seriously. You will be very pleased, not disgusted by my prize.
Hmmmm... still too cryptic? Are you kidding?
HINT: The key words have been mentioned several times throughout my previous 494 blog posts-- the most recent dirt (mud) being dished in September.
RULES: Folks that comment on the celebratory post (500th, Thursday the 12th, keep up with me, will you?) BEFORE the 501st post goes up (on Friday the 13th), will be entered to win.
BONUS: You clever bloggers that actually take the time to decipher my little riddle of "mud" and "blood" and comment on the post(s)most likely to be to what I am referring, will have double entries on (each) post that you leave a comment declaring you have found one of my favourite things. Those comments can begin now and must be completed before the 500th post (the celebratory one, remember? Thursday the 12th) is published.
It's getting complicated, I don't want to play....
Disclaimer:
Let's be realistic.
It is NaBloPoMo where blogtime is precious, so don't go reading EVERY single verbose post that mentions these either of these two words.
ONE comment for Blood and ONE for Mud will get you double entries on each one.
- ReCaP: Comment on Thursday, Nov. 12th.
- For bonus entries, comment now until the 12th on any post that may be referring to Bloody or Muddy things I love.
If you're still stumped,
call me.
ONE prize winner. I always lose my mind and want to send everyone something. That statement is for me, not anyone else.
What two cryptic words
would you use to describe
some of your favourite things?
would you use to describe

Oh my wouldn't be Johnny Cash singing A Boy Name Sue, would it? I'm thinking lyrics here...like the Mud, the Blood and the Beer??

Interesting! I'm clearly going to have to do a little sleuthing. Congrats on the 495th post too!
ReplyDeleteI'm not clever enough to keep up with you, lol!!
ReplyDeleteBut I haven't been by for awhile and I wanted to say hi!
HI!!!!!
(so what does that get me? anything???)
Well, if I can remember clear to next Thursday, I'll comment then. HA! :) Happy weekend to you!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm totally lost.. but that's nothing new
ReplyDeleteAt that same point when I went "Huh!??" and I read the sentence "It's getting complicated, I don't want to play...."
ReplyDelete*Huge Laugh*
Are you a worm in my tummy or something?!
*Huge Laugh*
I got lost. I blame the congestion and fever. I'm going with the two words. Chocolate and chocolate. They can be cryptic if you want them to be.
ReplyDeletei have no idea.
ReplyDeletei miss you though.
xoxo
ok.... for mud I'm going with chocolate and for blood I'm going with the Twilight series.
ReplyDeleteThose are two things you love right?
And really... considering I actually have H1N1 right now I think I am doing very well to even come up with that!
I'm glad son 1 thanked you profusely... any mom who sends her kid pizza from across the ocean deserves at LEAST a few heartfelt text messages... and some chocolate... and a good twilight book for flick.
You know I still haven't read those books? Or seen the movies? But I actually OWN the first two books now... all because of you my dear. Now I just have to actually read them.
hey, you mentioned me! :)
ReplyDeletei read mud and blood... and maybe it's because I'm rereading Harry Potter, but my brain keeps getting stuck on Mudbloods.
Blood has to do with Twilight, because if there's one thing you never shut up about (erm... I mean, frequently talk about enthusiastically) it's Twilight. ')
Mud.... hmmm....
mud=earth=world=disney world?
ReplyDeleteeither that or chocolate, which you also talk about a lot. deservingly.
Muddy H20!!!!!
ReplyDelete(but darn, I was really hoping you were giving away a trip to Disney World)
You say Mud and Blood together and I'm thinking Hermoine Granger. =) Then you go and say they're two different things. I'm gonna have to think a bit about this one. =)

OMG. I'm coming off of a migraine. I'll be doing well just to comment on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteMy head is spinning!!
ReplyDeleteOk, really now. I can barely keep up with your posting every day, and now I'm supposed to go back through old posts and, and, and !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
Only for you Jeri, I would only do it for you. :)
Shall I hold you to the one winner rule?
Now watch, I'll go find the old post to comment on, but I'll forget to drop by on Thursday, because that's how I roll. :)
