Magnitude Gratitude Monday

I am grateful for...

eggnog.

Any kind, any where. Basic, Pumpkin, Gingerbread, Cinnamon, homemade, store bought, with or without raw salmonella.

I love egg nog.

Could be why I am no longer a size 8.

What do you welcome back this time of year?

  3. Not a big fan of store bought eggnog, but I make a KILLER homemade version. I can send you the recipe if you'd like. Know that it's high octane, though. :)

  4. ummm yep all the goodies. The problem is I never lost the 20 pounds I gained last year, so there needs to be some restraint this year.
Said by the same woman who has had 6 homemade chocolate chip cookies so far today and it's not even half over yet...

  5. I love it too much. I don't dare have it more than once per holiday season. This is way too soon!

But any belly warmer on a cool night walk is a welcomed treat this time of year.

  7. Not an eggnog fan, for two reasons. Number one, I just don't care for it. Number two, my hubby. Let's just say I can't sleep in the same room as him after he has some.

  8. My neighbour Mrs Bancroft makes the most glorious eggnog. But only at Christmas. Otherwise we'd all be big as houses.

  10. I used to welcome back these cheap little Christmas tree brownies, but then I learned they are sold as Cosmic Brownie year-round at Dollar General. That was an unfortunate discovery.

  13. I love baking (and sampling) all the goodies this time of year.

My favorite right now are the mini-cheesecakes I've been making in my new little mini-cheesecake pan. Woot Woo! That's also why I've gained 3 lbs. in 2 weeks! I'd better lay off the baked goods! YIKES! I like eggnog- but I can take or leave it.
