Adventures in Bovine Land

Fred and Bessie were too excited to sleep, so we took them to Norwich's ASDA (that's Walmart to you Yanks) so that I could have my latest pyramid of photos printed. 1170 to be exact (yes, I have a problem).

We stopped into the Mickey D's to grab a CHICKEN lunch and they were immediately drawn to this sign... I didn't have the heart to tell them what it said. They thought it was a travel poster.

On the way home, they really wanted to see everything, so I hope Flea forgives me, but they didn't wear their seat belts for a little while...
They saw a roundabout (I'm not sure, but I think I heard them say "Weeee" as we went around).

They're really excited about this Dinosaur Park and want to go...

After we got home, they went off to sleep. And missed tea. and breakfast. They're really tired!

If I have this much fun with visiting cows, imagine the fun you and I could have if you'd JUST BITE THE BULLET and fly over for a cuppa! (and cream tea AFF)

  1. You're a nerd. I mean this in the best way! (really!) And I'm wondering, how is the developing at Walmart? And do you do anything in photoshop before you load them to go or do you develop as is?

  2. LOL, I'm following Fred and Bessie. You guys just crack me up with these dear little darlings!

I'm happy to hop here, as I am retired Air Force :) I'm coming back later and catch up on your blog. I'm still in shock at your "photo" problem! I have at least 25 rolls still not developed. Good you GET them done. Now digital, much easier.

Great job on the "kids" new vacation spot :)

  6. Working my way backwards, Of course they'll go to Buckingham Palace-- Hopefully to go through those purses the Queen has!
And Laura, you made me laugh out loud (the family already thinks I'm nuts).
Only 250? That was for this week, right?
Welcome Debbie! Glad to meet another F&B follower.
Which brings me to: It's not hard to lose it over these guys. Even the Hubby keeps suggesting places to take them to, which would make us both nerdy :-)
Erin, email me-- I'd love to talk camera with you!!

  8. They get to you don't they;) I miss them so much, but know they are having a wonderful adventure with you! Just remember to give Bessie a little white wine every once and a while. She got to like the stuff while she was here...

  9. Just rub it in. Just rub it in with a little bit of snark. Kine can partake of cream teas with you & I can't. SAD.

  10. Wheee! Did they throw their front hooves in the air at any point? :) That poster - thank you for not reading it to them. They would have been scarred for life. So glad you're enjoying them.

  12. The music to accompany the cows is hysterical.

Are you that starved for company, or just like to show cows a good time?

  14. you know I'd love to take a hop over the pond and have some tea with you... and Fred & Bessie. Unfortunately we would have to sell our home to buy tickets.

How about you visit me in Canada? Fred & Bessie are also more than welcome.

  15. I am so jealous! Fred and Bessie haven't come to visit me... But i guess I am the irresponsible cousin that might take them out where good young bovines ought not be - and keep them out too late. Ah well, I know that it's only because Flea knows they'd like me so much they'd never want to leave. I'm glad you're showing them a good time!
