King of all Computer Geekness.
He fixed my email and I can communicate again! Macdaddy is off of my poop list now.
There's a lesson here for you all...
yes, your photos are backed up, but if something happens to the program they're backed up in, can you still get to them?
Are there addresses, e-photos, passwords or registration numbers sitting somewhere that would be lost if the computer got temperamental?

Thank you Hubby! I'm a happy woman today.
I have learned that only two things are necessary to keep one's wife happy. First, let her think she's having her own way. And second, let her have it. ~Lyndon B. Johnson

Maybe you didn't say it first but it was you who made me laugh, "First, let her think she's having her own way. And second, let her have it." Yay for the computer working. Yippee for the husband.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness things are mended. And yeah! for a king!
ReplyDeleteThanks to you, I've backed up the last 3 years worth of pictures that I've been putting off.
Ahem.
Reminds me... need to back my computer up this weekend. Or, errrr, my husband needs to do it for me. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHooray! And oh fudge - backing up stuff? No clue. I'll have to ask my own Hunny for help.
ReplyDeleteLBJ was a very wise man. Of course we in Austin practically worshiped his wife who was always right. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yea for happy computers! Save early, save often.
Hooray! And that reminds me that I really DO need to get onto that backing up thing.
ReplyDeletelove the quote.
ReplyDeleteYay hubby!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that everything is going smoothly now! I think husbands really need special awards for stuff like this!
ReplyDeleteGosh! Computor man is...er...erm, very clever. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteYou never realize just how much technology means to you until you lose it! i.love.my.computer. Do you mean "backup" to a cd? Oops.
ReplyDeleteyeah for your king hubby!
ReplyDeleteand LBJ was an extremely wise man! ;)
Ahhhh, the good life!
ReplyDeleteNow I adores your King! cos' NO one at home can face up to that challenge and yet we have 5 of us here... *shame*
ReplyDeleteLove your pics, and where they lead to! Aren't husbands just the best. Will now get mine to do the same... or eldest son, as he is our Techno King.
ReplyDeleteAs for having our own way and all - that is such a fab quote and will tell husband it when he gets home. He will so agree!
Aren't hubsters wonderful sometimes? However, I'm still working on the toilet seat issue with mine... after 31 years now, I might have to give this one up. Now, if he could fix the computer, he'd really be a hero, but he does know how to dial the computer guy for me.
ReplyDeleteLove the LBJ quote! He was a wise man indeed.
Catchy way to remind us to back up our computers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder!
~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
Gotta love LBJ! Yay Hubby!
ReplyDeleteI love that quote! How true is THAT. And long live the geek (I'm a software engineer so I REALLY have a soft spot for fellow geeks). :)
ReplyDeleteLike I said . . . Love a man who loves computers and . . . voila! : )
ReplyDeletep.s.
Hey, LBJ said something I can agree with? Well, whattaya know! (Oh wait! Forget I just popped off with a political snark . . 'kay? I'll be nice from now on . . . I promise.)
Yay!
ReplyDeleteWhat a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!!!
That pic of him ROCKS!!! WOOHOO! Such a hottie!
By the way- BlogHer is not until July, but if you are going then I am DEFINITELY in. :)
Yay! Glad you got your computer working again - way to go King!
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a great guy. He must be very intelligent.
ReplyDeleteThat is what husbands are for. Mine is certainly better at mending computers than he is at putting up mirrors!
ReplyDeleteYay for your hubby. (what a cool picture of him)
ReplyDeleteMy husband always fixes any computer-related problem for me too. I love having a tech-savvy hubby!
I like them kinda heros..whoohoo hubby!!
ReplyDeleteYippee!! So glad your hubby could come to the rescue for you. :D
