Thinkfull

A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues. ~Cicero

I thank God for this day,
For the sun in the sky,
For my mom and my dad,
For my piece of apple pie!

For our home on the ground,
For His love that's all around,
That's why I say thanks every day!

Because a thankful heart is a happy heart!
I'm glad for what I have,
Thats an easy way to start!

For the love that He shares,
'Cause He listens to my prayers,
That's why I say thanks every day!

Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare. They are consumed in twelve minutes. Half-times take twelve minutes. This is not coincidence. ~Erma Bombeck

  6. i've always hated the fact that a really good meal (one that you've took great pains to prepare) is eaten at such a rapid rate...that is so true! i wish that we could just slow down and enjoy the food, instead of wolfing it down like we haven't eaten in months....the downfall of the american people: we rush so much, we can't slow down and enjoy what we have when we have it!
