She will nurture her children.
She will feed, clothe and care for them.
She'll nurse them when they're unwell and hold them when they're sad.
It is her responsibility to teach them and guide them in ways that will
help them become productive contributing adults.
She should direct them in good decision making.
I...
well,
I feed my children.

Oh, I had a coat on as well, so I wouldn't get cold while taking pictures.
It's Spring Break! All rationality goes out the window on Spring Break. What are you doing to squash the "I'm bored!" cries?
P/S Number one son is, at the very moment of this posting, driving to be with his Grandpa! Thank you for your prayers!! Happy Easter.

Glad your son is doing better. You've all been in my thoughts. My kids all got sick for Spring Break. That was fun. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou are supposed to feed them!? Do you have to do it everyday? ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad your son is doing better!
Aw...looks like they are having fun even if it is a little bit chilly. Rules are meant to be broken or at least bent a little bit once in a while. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear good news about number one son.
Happy Easter to you and yours!
Nothing like a dip in icy water to get the blood flowing and the adrenaline pumping. I'm sure it will be a memory that they will cherish for years to come.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear J1 is on his way to Grandpa's. That will be nice for both of them...a little bachelor time together.
happy easter to you as well :) And it actually brought tears to my eyes to know your firstborn is going to be with his grandpa.
ReplyDeleteI'll still pray :)
OK, that's just crazy! Feed 'em chili and warm them bones! Glad #1 is on his way. whew!
ReplyDeleteGlad all is looking up! My husband did the Polar Bear club thing up in Alaska once--it was in the spring too--what is it about spring break??!! Does it say anywhere that you what exactly will pass as food for feeding them? Its a little chocolatey around here lately.

ReplyDeleteGood to see and hear that everyone is doing well.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are crazy. cRaZy.
ReplyDeleteWe would totally do that around here too! Glad they had fun and I hope they got warm quick.
ReplyDeleteMy girls were INCHES away from having an amazing experience today. I took them to that Hannah Montana movie at one theater. 3 miles down the street at the OTHER complex, the REAL Miley Cyrus made a surprise appearance. Had we chosen THAT theater, my girls would have met her today. That is the story of our lives- we always miss out on the something cool by just a smidge. Our Spring Break has been rather boring but it was ALMOST really interesting!
spring break has just begun here. today I let MQ boss me around all afternoon - I mean, I let her decide what we would play all afternoon. it was fun, actually, but I won't be able to do it every day.
ReplyDeletecool! That should have definitely stop the "I'm bored" cries... *laugh*
ReplyDeleteyes! finally, silver linings are showing for #1. Good.
Oh praise God!
ReplyDeleteYour boys don't look blue to me. Their lips don't look blue. They can handle it mum - they're boys. Miss Ky is just a delicate flower. Good for you, thinking of something to stop the whining!
I"m so glad your son is going to his grandpa and won't be alone. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteTo be old and wise, you must first be young and foolish.
ReplyDeleteApparently, yours will be sought out for their wisdom...
Ah, I wouldn't take responsibility for their insanity if I were you. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your son is doing better.
That looks freezing, your #2 and #3 are hard core! Glad to hear the news about #1.
ReplyDeleteYou ROCK as a mom! I want to spend March Break with you!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear your son is doing better.
Happy Easter to you and your family.

My daughter asked me if we could fill the wading pool last week when it hit 60F. She said that is was, "boiling hot."
ReplyDeleteBrrrr!
ReplyDeleteI can remember doing that when I was a kid. I couldn't wait to get in the pool at the first hint of spring!
Same thing happened to us a few years ago.... a very cold dip in the pool on a very cold spring break.
ReplyDeleteI saw your photo/icon on Peggy's Middle Age Ramblings site and decided to stop by and visit. Glad I did.
Roban
Well, at least your internal cop makes you feed them, there is that.
ReplyDeleteThe unmitigated gall. Kids in an unheated pool. Kids LOVE it that way. I shall not call DYFS.
