The Sun Will Come Out

Occasionally life throws me a bone. You know, the little ray of sunshine after months of snow and rain. Mine came via the USPS.

First, I've noticed this meme circulating the blogosphere where people are sharing the contents of their handbags. Who knows why, but for some reason, we all find it fascinating enough that we either participate, or read about others who do. Today I am showing you my handbag.

See the beautiful colors?
Not a lot in it though.
You see, I am an amazingly organized person and my purse is always immaculate.

Well, when it's brand-spanking new it is.

Take a good look at the inside-- that's the last time anyone will see that beautiful, vivid aqua. I will bury it with diaper wipes, kid snacks, a sippy cup or two, commissary receipts etc...

I just purchased this from the nicest lady (who is coming to visit me. Actually she's visiting England, but I'm in England, so that means she's visiting me, right?). Her name is Michelle and she has an Etsy store called Hyperdoodle.

If you like my purse (and even my husband liked it, saying it was very "Oilily-ish"), check out her store-- her free shipping (in the U.S.) special has been extended .

This was the bright spot of my week. Thank you Michelle and to the Rocking Pony for directing me her way. And I'll be showing you what I found at the Rocking Pony soon too! Somebody take away my visa please.

Wouldn't this purse make a nice template for a blog?

  3. Very pretty purse but as I was reading your blog, as I was actually reading it from top to bottom, I was saying to myself, "UnUN!" There is no way a mom's bag could be so clean, could there? I almost felt shame. Then I felt relief. Whew! It's new. OK. I can handle that. Tell me it'll get nasty as time wears on, please!

  6. what a great bag! At first I thought maybe you had won it which would make it even better... free stuff is always better :) But then I remembered that you are in the same boat as I am - the "you can't enter this contest because you don't live in the states" boat. Hate that.

Anyhoo, it WOULD make a lovely template.

I'll be very impressed if you pull that off by the way.

  9. Oh dear, I think you might be as seriously disturbed as I am, lol. I actually burn my dead bags in the fireplace & haven't been arrested yet. Ha!

If I showed the contents of my bag, you'd all have to go into therapy immediately. My kids are grown. UhHuh.
