Tags and Award Ceremonies

Can you believe it? I will be moving into a new house in two weeks and I am sitting in front of this magnetic Mac--blogging. I have pictures that need posting, blogs to visit and a tax friend to mail goodies to-- oh, and packing to do, but for now:

Miss Brown Eyed Girl decided to get me since I boasted I was clear of her last tag-- but it's easy and I was able to do it without hurting my packing arm. So, thank you for thinking of me.

  1. My perfect food: Roast beef with gravy in a Yorkshire pudding. YUM. Followed by chocolate. :-) Dark chocolate, milk chocolate but NO white chocolate-- that's not even chocolate, who do they think they're fooling?! Maybe you should reverse the order-- chocolate and then Yorkshire Pudding. I just said chocolate SIX times in one paragraph-- now THAT's a perfect post.
  2. Favorite colors: oooh, I like so many. I like purple since Miss Ky came along. Also now fond of pink-- bright, vivid , shocking pinks.
  3. Hair: Yes, I have some, thanks for asking.
  4. DVD I recently saw: Dan in Real Life. I loved it!
  5. Guilty TV pleasure: Desperate Housewives
  6. If I were a tree, I would be a(n): Weeping Willow. Gorgeous, it's always been my favorite. I was tempted to go with another tree I saw on one of these tags that looked like Wisteria, but I can't remember the name of it.
Tagging: Amy at Rain Drop Glimpse. This poor girl. I happened upon her family blog one day and never went away. And Kari, at Struggling to Emerge -- she leaves the nicest comments (but probably never will again since it got her tagged).

And,

Flea who I mention just about every other post gave me this cool bloggy bling for my blog. I get all warm and fuzzy that she thinks of me like this. Thank you Flea.


And so, thinking quickly here, I'd like to pass this on to:
Kathryn, Woman in a Window, OhMommy, Snooty Primadona (with a cracking post today in memory of her Hubby's parents) and The Rocking Pony. These women probably already have a whole wall papered with this award, but now they have one for the fridge.

And there's more of you that I know SO deserve this award, but like I said, I was working on speed brain (which we all know is an oxymoron for me).

    I like Weeping Willows too. If I ever plant another tree, that what it will be.

    Being new to this blogging thing I'm not sure what you've passed on to me but I'm honoured, unless it was head lice or an virtual std or something weird. I'm just glad someone comes over and reads! And I am so having roast beef and mashed potatoes tonight. Only made yorkshore once and it is wonderful but the whole need the droppings to make the pudding messes me up. I have to say my gravy kicks butt though. Might just have it with cereal in the morning!

    Oh yum... I would LOVE to have a good yorkshire pudding and roast beef supper tonight... definitely with the dark chocolate too.

    And just so you know I tend to go back and forth between sitting down to cry and laughing maniacally. :)

    I'm with you on the white chocolate. It shouldn't even be allowed to have the word chocolate associated with it.

    I loved Dan In Real Life. The best romantic comedy I've seen in a while. So good!
