Sweet Smell of Childhood

Mum: A2, you need to take a bath

A2 (5 years going on 30): I took one yesterday, see (holding up grimy arms), I'm not dirty.

Mum: You are dirty and you need to take a bath so you won't be stinky.

A2: I don't need a bath, I can just put on some arm pit stuff.

Any representatives for Sure, Dove, Secret, Ban, or Axe looking for a spokesperson out there?

  5. Wow! That's deja vu all over again for me! My 10-year-old routinely forgets to clean ears and apply "natural" deodorant. Recently she informed me (after showering and dressing) that she had cleaned her ears but don't worry about the deodorant part ... 'cuz she put that on before she showered. LOL! (How can young Miss Einstein design/build real robots, solve complex algebraic equations, and construct seaworthy boats out of cardboard/plastic wrap and fail at deodorant applications 101?)

  8. My nephew's (he's 2) new thing is "I don't have to. I already did it the other day." This applies to dinner and baths... basically anything he wants to get out of. But boys don't really get THAT dirty anyway, do they? ;)
