I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. - Henry David Thoreau, Walden
That is a fabulous tree. Now I want to sit under a tree and read one of my million books on my list. Except I can't do that here or I'll spontaneously combust.
A while ago you left me a comment where you said you rarely do a "breath intake" while reading a post but that you did when you saw mine (a post with photos of roses). Did that make any sense?
Anyway, amazingly, I gasped when I saw this post. I absolutely love that Thoreau quote. It takes my breath away. Thanks.
One of my all-time favorites.
