Yes, Anonymous, There Is More About the Cows.

It's been fun. They've walked coastal paths...

Enjoyed poo-free beaches...

tried a little seaweed...

Seen some great sights....

Played "Where's Waldo?" Fred and Bessie style...

I think they're going to miss England with it's sweet, green grass and wild poppies splashing color throughout the fields.

But they're off.

After a stop by Stonehenge (I couldn't go with the kids out of school-- there's not enough seats in the car-- so there won't be photos, sorry), they'll catch a flight out of London's Gatwick Airport. I think they may be looking forward to some sunshine-- a day without rain...

And they'll get it where they're going (along with some really great cooking and a good time).

Brought to you by the wonderful Blogger Scheduler (I'm out of the office buried in children taking a holiday)

  5. I love the one at the Priory Barn. I saw them! And I love your updated picture in the side bar. :)

I know they'll have a great time at the next stop! But you've been a fantastic mum to the bovines. Thank you! Be expecting something in the mail in a week or two. You and their last home, Mental P (I'm so late and lazy!).

  6. Oh, the cows are moving on already? But there's still so much left to be seen. But, I'm sure you will enjoy a respite from the 24/7 stress of entertaining guests. I can just imagine how much salt and pepper you went through keeping those two full as they traveled the island. You're a good sport. Now relax and enjoy the peace and quiet with your kids (*snort*) ; )

  7. *laugh* I love the spike! *laugh*

I wonder what Anonymous would say this time...*laugh* which is really true, if you want to say something, say it with your name, if you can't even be 'proud' of what you say then, shut up!

    Have loads of fun girl!

  10. Bwahahaha! I'm reading this aloud to the Hunny and he lights up like a Christmas tree. "No way! They're going to Stonehenge? Is she going to take pictures? That is so cool!" He's such a goober. :)

  12. It's me again! For some reason I don't hear music when I come to your blog, no matter how loud I crank the speakers, but the Hunny is looking at your blog right now and we're both smiling at Roy and Dale.

  16. Thanks for the bovine update. I was just wondering how they were when I stopped by and there was the answer! I am glad to see that Fred is fully recovered from his injury and that they are moving on!

By the way - I am so sorry to hear about Jake. You will just have to cuddle your kiddos and Hubby more.

  18. Okay, I completely cracked up when I heard Roy & Dale singing "Happy Trails"!

The anticipation of the bovines arrival is steadily building and I'm preparing to receive them and show them a great time... West Texas style.

I even bought them some, shall we say... props for their visit, lol. These props will be going with them to the next hostess, or back to their home, whichever happens to come first.

I hope to at least wow them a bit with the beautiful secrets of the desert and the mystery of the oil bidness, along with a couple of surprises. Still, I doubt that I can ever show them such beauty as what they've seen with you. I do hope they don't go into culture shock, as it often happens to people who come here from interesting places, lol.
