I view possible houses for my family to live in. That's what I do.
If they will accept our offer (the rent is £200.00 more than we want to pay but the estate agent says it is HIGHLY likely they will accept), this is where we will be moving at the first of the year.
It's nearly impossible to view during daylight hours since the daylight is gone by 3.30, but saturday I can show you the gardens-- they are a hide-n-seek heaven.
This is an aga. It's the bee's knees and I've wanted one since we moved here. The kitchen is MY heaven.
The other house hasn't come through and we're nearly out of time. The Hubby leaves just after Christmas and there's too much Air Force legal work not to mention the chaos of a move for me to do without him.
This place also has plenty of room for visitors, do you see yourself making a trip across the pond anytime soon?

Ooooooh! I have aga envy! Looks smashing! I will pray . . . : D
ReplyDeletep.s.
YES! I see myself crossing the pond. Shall I convince Karen Deborah to hop the jet with me??? I love a good dream. And now I must be off to dreamland, as I ready for another day.
ooh Debbie convince me, wouldn't it be fun?
ReplyDeleteC'mon ladies, the scones and clotted cream are at the ready!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, nummy-looking! I love kitchens too! Maybe it makes me think that anything IS possible...if I had the right kitchen, maybe I could cook and bake right properly like my mother used to!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I almost always visit blogland during the night when I have to keep my volume muted. Tonight, however, I happened to have my ear thingies handy and saw your song list. I'm listening and don't want to leave your blog!!! :) I love, love, love music! Especially Christmas music. Another Mmmmm!
Oh oh oh how I hope you get this house and THAT AGA. Was brought up with one and they are like a permanent kind granny in the kitchen, to lean against their warmth and cook with. Cross fingers, legs, toes.... X
ReplyDeleteChances are that they will be snatching you hand off with the rental markey in free fall. Hope you get it...I would kill for an AGA. Had a Rayburn once, but an AGA is the Bee's knees.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get it! I am sending real estate vibes your way. And it would not take too much arm twisting to get me there...;)
ReplyDeleteI love your hobby. I wonder if realtors would get mad if I started doing house tours just to see different decorating themes?
ReplyDeleteVery nice...would be awesome to do my Christmas baking that I'm doing today on something like that!
ReplyDeleteYes, you do seem to do a lot of looking for places to live... you're quite a trooper and I know someday you'll have a place to settle down long term... right? Right?
ReplyDeleteBut... what's this business about it getting dark at 3:30??? Wha? For real? Are you moving to Iceland? The North Pole?
Lovely! Prayers that things work out as they are meant to be!
ReplyDelete~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
You are amazing. Here I was dreading the thought of moving all of our stuff ONCE. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe house looks beautiful!
The house looks great! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteI have only read about AGAs so I don't have any clue how fabulous they are. As for going across the pond . . . I would love to but who knows when I will get the chance!
oooohhhhh, i like that house....very pretty and cute & i can't wait to see hte gardens....i'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you and perhaps even throw a few prayers out there for you as well :)
ReplyDeleteoh man - I WANT one of those stoves too!!
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing an offer acceptance from Santa! Merry Christmas..Happy Home
ReplyDeleteSandi
gorgeous!
ReplyDeletemoving, yuck.
You might get a house with an Honest to God Aga? WOW. I know you are on pins and needles. Cause WOW. And, stop asking. You know I wanna cross the pond.
ReplyDeleteLike NEXT FRIDAY!!!
Heavenly girl! Heavenly! I love it! How I wish we are neighbours... then I'll always find some excuse to pop over just to take a peek inside that beauty!
ReplyDeleteVery Nice! I love the kitchen. Good luck, I hope you get the house.
ReplyDeleteThat is GORGEOUS! Crossing my fingers for you.
ReplyDeleteOk, I love the tag down below. What fun.
ReplyDeleteThis house looks pretty fantastic. Hope everything goes well and they accept your offer.
So pretty! I would love to come overseas! Maybe someday! If we do I'll for sure let you know! :) I hope your offer gets accepted!
ReplyDeleteOooooh, an aga. Always wanted to see how one worked.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm only, hmmmm, 30-45 minutes away, so I may have to come check it out one of these days.

Oh MAN!!! I'd love to just come help you move! That is so COOL!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteHope that you get the house. What happened to the last one that you wanted?
ReplyDeleteNo need to cross the pond. I have a friend in Norfolk that I have not seen for some time.
I feel unworthy to leave a comment because I have no idea what an AGA is--and therefore can't be properly excited for you. I feel like such a failure somehow. I have never been across "the pond"--do I have to know what an AGA is before they let me on the plane? This is all so stressful.......
ReplyDeleteOff to google AGA!
ReplyDelete**Blushing**
Oh! How cute! Forget the Aga (although that's nice) it's the gardens that would get to me. You live in the ideal climate to grow every imaginable plant. Sigh. I'm green with envy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous house!!! I want to live there myself! I hope you get it!
ReplyDeleteyou crack me up.
ReplyDeleteand it is lovely!
Hey, it's actually easier to move more often. That way, you don't collect too much stuff... like us after 22 years in this house. Talk about a nightmare! I'd almost rather burn it down and start over.
ReplyDeleteBut, I've still got my fingers & toes crossed for you getting this house.
ohhhhh - nice!!! Hope your offer is taken!
ReplyDeleteWould love to come visit!!!!
That looks like a great place, maybe I'll have to take you up on your offer.
ReplyDeleteI'm so in. I'll be there Saturday.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO lovely BTW. I hope you get it!
You are really good at what you do! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThat house looks so beautiful! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that things will work out and the house will become yours. (Do you know that it is really hard to type on a keyboard when your fingers are crossed?!!) ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Jeri. :D
That place looks awesome! I love the kitchen too!
ReplyDeleteThat house gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteI love your obsession... (home and garden TV is a big hit around here)...that house is lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I would be flying across in a heartbeat ... maybe someday?
"Your" heaven is quite a lovely place!! Would love to take a trip across the pond...hmmmm??!!
