Dear Elmer,
Just a suggestion for your glue sticks (I'm also sending a similar letter to the makers of a sparkly perfume): You may want to reconsider the packaging shape since my two youngest seem to think your product is Chapstick.
Gee - it sounds like you are having quite an "interesting" time! AS for the "going through stuff to become stronger" I know how you feel. Don't worry - sometimes you just get crud because you CAN handle it. Not fair, I know but, sadly, a fact of life!
Oh yes, I know that one! Have had many children over the years at school who think that its a great idea to look pretty with the glue stick. Dont do it twice though!
that is funny in a gross kind of way....but i guess that it isn't too far-fetched especially considering that some kids actually EAT glue (i was NEVER one of those kids!)
um...ew! maybe elmer should make stronger glue in gluestick form...and i'll give it to my kids, tell them it's chapstick...and laugh as they are applying it...bwahahahaha
Interesting concept here...I am wondering....Let's just say that a child who cannot stop yapping her gums used the glue stick as chapstick, how long would her mouth stay shut? My child, probably not long...That glue stick would be no match for her. :)
My kids have the opposite idea. They keep trying to use my chapstick as gluesticks. We go through a lot of Burt's Bees chapstick if I don't hide it deep.
At least it's non-toxic right? I'm laughing at the mental picture I have of your kids' lips glued together. You know, I could maybe use this to my advantage over here. I have one very loud mouthed child.....
Oh no, that's hilarious. Well, hilarious for me, I'm not the one with my lips glued shut. On the other hand, that might not necessarily be a bad thing. Hold on... let me get a glue stick and give it to my kids. :)
Mine did this one Christmas a few years ago, hid furtively in the back room and made herself up with a sweet glue smile. Much screaming ensued.
ReplyDeleteOh no.
ReplyDeleteOh no! That can't be good.
ReplyDeleteOMG LOL (sorry but it is a bit funny)

ReplyDeleteUh-oh!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I guess you won't have to threaten to glue their mouths shut if they don't quit fighting anymore. Must be quiet at your place! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou've got top be kidding me. Those kids of yours sure now how to get into things, don't they? It's almost.......surreal. ;-)

ReplyDelete*laugh* I'm sorry I'm laughing at what I should not....
ReplyDeleteAn excellent suggestion.
ReplyDeleteBut think of the benefits - no more non-stop talking. It's probably better than tape, and obviously they're willing to self-apply.
ReplyDeleteoh - the poor dear!
ReplyDeleteOh..NO...!!! It just looks so perdy..does it smell good too??
